Suggest Treatment For Focal Pyelonephritis

This is my son ultrasound result or Impression.. define hypoechoeniticies seen in the left superior renal cortex. The corticomedullary junction is fairly define. It s cortical outline is smooth. The pelvocalyceal system is not dilated. There are hyperechoic foci seen in the right mid and right inferior calcyes measuring .24 and .25 cm in size respectively. No evidence of solid mass or hydronephrosis. Both ureters are obsured by overlying bowel gas. Impressio Normal sized right kidney with non obstructing intracalyceal lithiases as described Focal pyelonephritis left.. Is this really bad for my son who is 4 yrs old? Im worried.. thank you

Antibiotics will be the treatment of choice and most cases respond well to antibiotics. He might require a CT scan for better visualization.
