Suggest Treatment For Folliculitis

Hi Doctor, i am having a FOLLICULITIS(baltod) on my first toe and it has developed into a sore and has led to swelling of my foot..... shall i put cloth dipped in hot water over it so that the sore(its a bump filled with pus) goes down..... please suggest me something.....

Hi
Apply topical antibiotic like neosporin ointment or mupirocin cream on the sore twice daily and take anti inflammatory medicines like ibuprofen or diclofenac.
No need to put it in hot water.
