I have had folliculitis for 20 years, with various treatments of antibiotics. They dont work! About the time I start seeing results the prescription runs out and it come back worse.I saw a dermatologist that took a biopsy and prescribed a long term allergy medication, it does help with the itching but I still get very large outbreaks all over. What other course of can I take?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have pain in abdomen radiating towards pubic bone . Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due to many reasons like friction , heat and sweat , certain skin conditions, such as dermatitis and acne , injuries to your skin and coverings on your skin .I would suggest you to wash your face with cold water and face wash containing benzoyl peroxide , apply cream containing azelaic acid and exfoliate your skin once a week to remove dead skin . If condition persist then consult dermatologist for proper examination . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics like minicyclin along with retinoids and corticosteroid ointment .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
