Hi doctor, i ve sufflerd from folicullitis now for 5 years. I m on Isotretionin oral & Differin topic since april. I m alson on Levaxin & T3-supplement. I ve had bloodtests that shows I ve been overdose my levaxine for many years. I m female & I m 55 years old. Best regards
Hi. As per your case history of folliculitis, my treatment advice - 1. Don't squeeze the lesions as it may worsen the condition. 2. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like fusiderm cream twice daily. 3. Take a NSAID like ibuprofen for pain and swelling. 4. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics like levofloxacin, cefadroxil and azithromycin taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
