Suggest Treatment For Foot Pain After Hitting

I jumped on my friend's back for a piggy back ride, and i hit the top of my foot really hard on his elbow. It stung and hurt really bad and after a few hours it is still uncomfortable and hurting. Could i possibly have internal bleeding if it hit a vein, and if so what should i do?
