Suggest Treatment For Foot Pain

For the last 3 years or so I have been getting this pain in my right foot that lasts for 5-7 days each episode, and occurs about once every month, to month and a half. It's a dull ache that is bad enough that I can barley get a shoe on my foot. I also get pain that is starts in my collar bone (also on the right side) and radiates down my entire arm (almost feels like a tournakit around my arm). The arm symtoms also come and go just like the foot pain. Between these episodes, I have absolutley NO pain or stiffness. I have been charting when this is happening, and it has been pretty consistent with how long the pain lasts, and how often it is occuring. I have also rulled out a shoe problem, as it doesn't matter what shoes I wear, the pain still comes and goes. I do have a history of Multiple Sclerosis in my family (My sister, and an Aunt). I don't know if this could be a possbility. I wouldn't think that it could be a nerve, spine or muscle issue as again it comes and goes. Any advise? Not sure where to turn from here. I've seen my family Doctor, but he doesn't seem to know what to tell me.
