Hello doctor, i have been worried for quite a while these days. I have had spots come up on my penis shaft a while back (maybe a few months ago, I cant exactly pinpoint how long its been) and they have remained there for months. The last time I had sex was with a friend on february 2014, which is almost a year and a half ago. It was unprotected. I believed what I have is genital warts so I went to the STD clinic to have them taken off but the STD clinic nurse refused to do so because after she examined my penis, she claims that they are fordyce spots. As I was relieved with her answer, I would like to be 100% sure and certain with myself that fordyce spots is truly what it is and not a misdiagnosis. Id like to say that I went to the STD clinic after 3 different doctors told me it was genital warts, but the nurse refused to operate on me because she claimed it to be fordyce spots.
