Suggest Treatment For Fractured Coccyx

I think ive fractured my Coccyx, I went to a walk in centre where a nurse told me that it is possibly broken, just to take painkillers. The pharmacist gave me Nurofen plus and paracetamol. I am still in alot of discomfort even with the painkillers. I work a full time desk job. Is it advisable to take time off work to help it heal? If so how long?
