Suggest Treatment For Fractured Hamate Bone

i have been diagnosed with a minimally displaced fracture through the hamate bone accompanied with a comminuted proximal fourth metacarpal fracture. in your opinion can this be healed by a closed reduction or do i have to get an open reduction? and how long do i have to decided after the initial fracture before it heals wrong?
