General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The post fracture therapy depends upon the level of fracture with other comorbid conditions. Whether nail, rod or screw insertion were carried out or not for the fracture fixation is very very essential information, which is not provided here.

However, following guidelines will best guide for the same:
- Continue physiotherapy as per the doc guidelines
- Control of blood sugar, body weight
- Balanced nutritious diet for better and faster recovery
- Take care of plaster or cast if applied at present
- Limb mobilisation as per the instructions only and avoid excess and prolong weight bearing
- Continue medications as vitamin D, calcium, supportive therapy

If X-rays are available that involving time before procedure and after procedure, it would be of immense help to understand the issue more which is half way at present.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
