Dermatologist 's  Response
Hello P.M,
Welcome to HCM.
I would like to clarify a few things. Did the freckles start recently or have they been there since childhood? Have they been spreading, especially upward? Is there any swelling or history of any injury?
Such freckling around feet and legs without symptoms maybe possibly Shamberg's disease, a condition of little blood spots from the tiny blood vessels in skin. It is generally harmless and does not respond to treatment well either, The pigmentation persists and maybe progressive.
To confirm you will need to be seen by a dermatologist before further treatment.
