Suggest Treatment For Frequent Dizziness While On Atorvastatin And Clopidogrel

I have heart problems (defibrillator and had by-pass years ago) Overall I feel pretty good except for dizziness quite frequently Can this be caused by my medications---I take metformin, carvedilol, atorvastatin, losartan, clopidogrel, spirobolactone and amiodarone?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Atorvastatin is associated with fatigue, muscle pains and exhaustion and at times dizziness. This can be reduced by taking it in the evening and tapering down the dose.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ajeet Singh, General & Family Physician
