Suggest Treatment For Frequent Episodes Of Heartburn

my husband is experiencing more frequent episodes of heartburn. His diet hasn t really changed, nor his weight, but he has taken Tagamet in the past and wonders if he s not getting heartburn more frequently since he s taken Tagamet. Is that possible?

I understand your problem.. Tagamet drug is helpful to reduce acid production in stomach so less acidity and heartburn occurs.
More acid production ma6 cause upward flow and damage to oesophagus...

Do some diet modifications and lifestyle changes like.. ..

Avoid citrus, spicy food ,alcohol drinking and smoking...

Eat small amount of meal and chew properly.
Avoid lying down immeadiate after eating.

Drink a more water per day..
Elevate your head during sleeping.
Avoid gaseous foods like cabbage, cauliflower, carbonated drinks etc....

Consent a physician for further treatment.
