I recently was treated for h.pylori. After taking ten days of antibotics I begin to feel somewhat better. However now I still feel bloated at times, nauseated after I eat anything, and frequent headaches. I don t know what s going on with me but I really can use some answers.

Internist / Hospitalist 's  Response
Hello,

Sometimes the patient have such problems for a month. Therefore, I suggest you to take PPIs (Cap omeprazole 20 mg two times a day for a month, Tab Metoclopramide 10 mg once a day for 5 days and Tab paracetamol 500 mg when you have a headache ( do not exceed 1500 mg per 24 hours).

Note: You have not mentioned your age, so the dosage of medication may vary. I have prescribed for an adult.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Sandeep Kumar Karn, Internist / Hospitalist
