Suggest Treatment For Frequent Urination And Cramps

frequent urination and cramps. Have gotten period twice this month and it was very heavy. normally my period should start sometime this week so not sure if it is just getting back on track or what. Should I be concerned? Also, I have fluctuated taking birth control to due forgetting pills

Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Frequent urination could be due to urinary tract infection. Get a urine microscopy done followed by urine culture and sensitivity. In case it indicates infection, you need to take a course of antibiotic accordingly. Otherwise drink good quantity of water and citrus fruit juice.
Experiencing cramps and heavy bleeding is due to irregular intake of birth control pills. You need to continue to take birth control pills regularly to get your periods right. Even if you forget it sometime, you need to take at as soon as you remember. Otherwise, it will cause hormonal imbalance leading to dysmenorrhea and dysfunctional uterine bleeding. You can take tablet containing Mefenemic acid and Dicyclomine for relieving pain and cramps.
