Suggest Treatment For Fungal Infection On The Legs And Thighs

I have what was diagnosed as fungal infection on my legs and thigh and was prescribed Naftifine HCl. Even after three weeks use, no effect. It actually has spread more. I have also been prescribed Clobetasol Propionate with no noticeable effect. What will work ?

Hi & Welcome.
Clobetasol propionate is a steroid which is not effective in the treatment of the fungal infection of the skin.

Based on the history you seem to have developed a drug resistant (Naftifine) fungal infection involving the skin of legs and thighs.
For such cases I usually prescribe Terbinafine or Sertaconazole containing antifungal cream or lotion. It needs to be applied twice daily.

Besides, you also need to take certain precautions like:

Keep the affected area dry and clean.
Take regular bath using shower
Use loose cotton underwear.

Hope the advice given above would be useful.
