Suggest Treatment For Gag Sensation In Throat
For the past four days I have had a gaggy sensation in my throat, but I don t feel nauseous. This feeling has lasted all day every day, and it has happened before. The first time was a year ago and it lasted 1 week. Then again 6 months ago but lasted about 1 month, non stop. Something else I have noticed was that I have excessive phlegm in my throat, so bad that if I even go just 5-10 minutes without speaking, I will have to clear my throat (which I tend to have to clear it often). Could this be related/curable?

Your symptoms are suggestive of a chronic pharyngeal infection or sinus infection. For this reason, I would recommend performing a throat discharge bacterial culture and a sinus X ray study. Antibiotics may be needed.
