Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello! My sister is 57 years old and she has a 16mm stone in her gallbladder. Its non-symptomatic but she does suffer from occasional acid reflux and gas. She had a complete pericardiectomy in May 2016. She is pre-diabetic, has high blood pressure, high cholesterol and is boderline obese. What will be the best course of action to treat the gallbladder stone? Will surgically removing it be a good idea with her current health issues? Thank you.
hi hope to guide you in a better way yes surgery is a parasite option as with it only symptoms worse day by day ,medicines can only give a temporary relief. just control her blood sugar level and other requirements for surgery.she gonna be alright with surgery.
