Suggest Treatment For Gas And Acidity In A Child Who Has Sleeplessness And Disturbed Sleep

My kid one in 2 to 3 days feels uncomfortable while sleeping,gets up and keeps on turning sides,I doubt it s because of gas and acidity..mostly I give water but if that doesn t help I give himococid syrup around 4 ml.He is 6 years old.Is it harmful as it s ayurvedic doesn t seem to have side effects I guess..
