Suggest Treatment For Gonorrhea And Vaginal Bacterial Infection
recently diagnosed with ghonorrhea and a vaginal bacterial infection. i got the shot and pills for the ghonorrhea and am taking metronidazole for the infection. but there are bumps on the flaps of my vagina all the wat to the anal region. my doctor said they werent herpes that they were from the infection. what is your suggestion?

HI, I understand your concern. Treatment of gonorrhea] consists of -Inj. Cefctriaxone intramuscularly, or a single oral dose of Cefexime 400mg.I feel you have already received them...& still have symptoms of bumps on flap of vagina. That indicates mixed infection. * The Metrogyl you are taking is useful for associated fungal infection ( usually accompanied by itching & white discharge) Gonorrhea is many a times is accompanied by Chlamydia infection - which is treated by Azithromycin or Doxycyclin . * To pin point the type of infection a swab testing by routine & microscopic & culture testing would help.The specific drug should then be started with an expert advise.
