Suggest Treatment For Green Sputum And Cough While Taking Augmentin

Thank you. I was perscribed Augmenting ( I never had an issue when last I took it about 20 yrs ago) I was nauseated and vomited for 4 days - gave it up as I couldn t keep it down. Then GP gave me Amoxil - same issue - I lasted 3 days befor I became too weak to tolerate my other meds ( Have NIDDM & RRMS) still have green sputum and a horrible body wrenching cough. What is the best respiratory non Penecillian med I could take please. Much appreciated. Siobhan

A good antibiotic that is different from penicillins and that is quite effective with lung infections is Azithromycin.
