Suggest Treatment For Growing Bump On Backbone

My sister is 56, 5.6 tall and 140lbs. She has an unusual growing bump on her backbone on the thoracic region. Normally it does not pain, only when she bends too long she feels the pain on her back near the area. She is healthy except for allergy cough during cold weather.
