Suggest Treatment For Hair Loss And Weak Scalp

dr, is it safe to dutacet or duta max by galcare for my daughter age 16 Years , we gave her Tab REVILUS with Morr 5% lotions for almost 12 weeks but hair fall did not droped ,growth appears weak or skin of scalp is weak , Kindly suggest , i am worried as she is a doughter

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain Dutacet contain Dutaseride that is used to treat Prostrate Hypertrophy on men as it act by suppressing male hormones and are used for hairfall in men as hairloss in men can be due to sensitivity of hair follicles to male hormones..
It can be advised in female hairloss of it is due to Androgenic Alopaecia..
But I would suggest you not to give her Dutesteride ..
As she is a female of teenage group hairfall can be due to hormonal causes like Polycystic ovarian disease, Hypothyroidism, stress, Nutritional Deficiencies, fungal infection etc..
I would suggest you to continue applying More 4% lotion as it contains Minoxidil and is commonly used for reducing hairfall..
You can also give her Multivitamin supplements..
Stop Revilus tablet also as it has antibiotic Metronidazole and is used to treat bacterial infection..
You can also massage her scalp with warm coconut oil..
Consult a Trichologist and get evaluated and investigations like Hormonal assy, complete blood picture and Trichogram and Dermoscopy can help E diagnosis and further treatment can be done..
