Suggest Treatment For Hair Loss, Thinning Of Hair And Dandruff

Hello Doctor! I am a 28 year male suffering from hair loss, thinning of hair, and Dandruff with lot of oil secretion from skin. This problem continued from last 6 years. I tried many antidandruff shampus and oils on hair, but problem continues. Also whenever I shift my job from one city to onother, hair fall increased tremendously. Please tell me any possible reason and suggest me any remedy.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns.

As per your complain it seems that you are suggering from Seborrheic Dematitis leading to excessive dandruff along with hairfall and hair thinning..
Hairfall can also be due to Androgenic Aloepaecia..
I would suggest you to consult a Trichologist and get evaluated and he can do a clinical evaluation along with investigations like Trichogram and Dermography..
He can advise you to apply shampoo containing Ketoconazole, salicylic acid, coal tar, zinc , selenium etc..
Massaging the scalp with steroid lotion can help..
In case if androgenic alopaecia is also present he can advise you to apply Minoxidil lotion over the scalp and take Biotin and multivitamin supplements..
Green tea can be taken as it is also helpful..
