General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Previous treatments you have received for hair loss has not been mentioned. The usual treatments suggested are minoxidil hair spray, multivitamin supplement, platelet rich plasma therapy or hair transplant. Minoxidil is a vasodilator and when applied on the scalp, it dilates the blood vessels increasing the blood flow and thereby stimulating the hair follicles.

Injected platelets from your own blood has also been provided to be effective in stimulating hair growth. Avoid stress, sleep for 7 hours a day and adequately hydrate for better results.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Saranya Ramadoss, General & Family Physician
