Suggest Treatment For Hair Stuck To The Scalp And Ingrown Hair

I have fought hair stuck to my scalp for 8 months. I have seen 4 dermatologist and they seem to think, I love to pick at my hair. I had my head shaved and it came back the same way, I have spent a fortune on products over the counter and prescribed meds. My hair is stuck to the scalp, when I pull it away, it jumps right back. I have had ingrown hair and get it out and it comes back in the same place. I ve done everything I know to do. Please give me an answer if you have one. Thanks and God Bless!

Hi,

I can understand your concern for the ingrowing of the hairs. The hairs become ingrown leading to pseudofolliculitis. To get long term remission of the ingrowing hair is to avoid shaving and cutting the hairs short. Keeping long hairs might solve your problem.
