I was running on Friday - 4 days ago. I had warmed up - 2 miles and was doing some stride outs to get ready to do a speed work out. Started out on my first speed interval and got about 4 strides out when my right butt and hamstring spasmed up and took me to the ground. At first I thought I had blown a hamstring. There is no bruising . It hurts in the butt still and if i press on it my hamstring hurts - almost like sciatica. Any suggestions? I do have a herniated disc - is that the culprit.?
