Suggest Treatment For Hard Lump On Neck

My daughter has a growth on the right side of her neck, below and just behind her right ear. An ultra-sound was done and they thought it was a cyst. The head and neck specialist drew cells from the growth and said that it wasn t fluid but a thicker substance. What could this be?
