Suggest Treatment For Hardness On Knee After Injury

i fell on my left leg about 2 years . the front of the leg. i did not break any bones however it was a bad fall on ice. since then , my leg has never been the same . it is very hard around and above the knee. i was told that this is probaly calcium deposits. its is a very strange feeling like there is some kind of cap around my knee. is there any thing i can do for this?
