Suggest Treatment For Headache After Injury

I was hit hard on the field returning a punt, and there aren t any signs of a concussion, but i m afraid that there is internal bleeding in my brain or swelling. I ve been having headaches and they come and go, but not to the point where I can t handle them. They are just minor headaches.

Hello dear friend,
I understand your concerns. You are the best judge to decide the level of injury you had,but it may not be so severe as you are saying it is,if you did not lose consciousness after the injury.Still, since you are afraid for the said reasons and having intermittent headache, only answer to let your fears go away,is a brain imaging(preferably computerised tomographic scan). Please visit a neurosurgeon and tell him about your injury and all your fears. He will probably get it done and rule out any traumatic brain injury.
