About 2-3 weeks ago my 3 year old son hit me pretty hard in the nose with his foot while playing. Since then, I have suffered from vision disturbances, painful headaches worsening while upright, and pain upon palpation of my nose. These headaches are right behind my eyes, mostly left eye and anterior. There was no epistaxis, clear fluid or any of the like that occurred. Is it possible I have an injury of some sort? The headaches started day after the injury. Thanks in advance. 39 year old female otherwise healthy.
Dear I am sorry for the symptoms you are suffering I read your query and understand your concern In my opinion I don't think you have reason to worry too much as no other events (such as neurological deficits ) bothered you after the hit Anyway I would strongy reccomend to schedule a neurological exam and probably a head CT scan just to be sure we aren't missing something You can use pain killer to avoid pain ( such as ibuprofen) Hope my answer will help you Stay healthy Best regards Dr Eris Ranxha Neurologist
