I am Vinod, 27 years age, Male, from Maharashtra, Inida. I am taking medicine for Anxiety/depression since 2005. But till date i am changing the medicine and doctors. But not getting good results. 1. I was taken Recita Tab for 3 years. (1 Tab during night) 2. Then Censpram (1tab during night) 3. and Now Serlift (1tab during night) But for every tab. I am experencing side effects of small head pain, sleepy, unfreshness, acidiy, uncomfort etc. Please guide which kind of medicine is suitable for me wihtout any side effects.
Regarding your concern, I would explain that every medicine has its adverse effects.
Nevertheless, the doses that you have been using are too low. There is not a special drug, without any adverse effects. The tolerance is based on individual characteristics.
Coming to this point, I would recommend discussing with your attending physician on switching to another drug like paroxetine or fluvoxamine, until you will find the drug which you better tolerate.
It is important starting in low doses and increasing slowly the doses in order to avoid adverse effects.
Hope you will find this answer helpful!
Best wishes,
Dr. Aida
