Suggest Treatment For Headache And Behavioral Changes

i have had symptoms of confusion, not focusing, complete personality change, headaches, not knowing what i am really doing,shjort term memory loss and not comprehending my Dr. and neurologist said i am under too much stress (which I have had past year) did an MRI antway and ir showed too much fkuid around brain causing pressure. i went to the surgeon to discuss shunt surgery and he wakjed in and said i was wasting his time he did not see that at akk it was the wrong mixture of med and i would soon have cimplete dimentia (atenelol, ativan, meclizine and zanaflex for fibromyalgia. please give me your opinion my husband is ready to walk out the door. i need some help where do i go from here? seek another opinion abouit MRI. counselor, or go to a different dr. to see about the med, also i want to know can medicane cause this and why did one see the fluid biuld up and one did not?

You need a second opinion. A fluid buildup around the brain is very significant and could be causing the problems. A radiologist needs to look at the MRI results and identify for sure whether fluid is present. I cannot say why one doctor saw it and another didn't. The medicines you are taking could certainly cause the symptoms you are having, and you might need to change them. But first you need to be absolutely sure about the fluid. Have a radiologist who specializes in reading MRIs take a look at your films. Hope this helps.
