Suggest Treatment For Headache And Dizziness

Recently I have experienced strange but mild headaches that always seem to be localized to one small area on the left side of my head. These headaches are often accompanied with dizziness, a sensation of pressure inside my head and sometimes a metallic blood like smell sensation

Hello dear,
Thanks for being on healthcaremagic.com.If you would have presented to me as an outpatient,I would have made the following clinical explanation-
If you are having episodic unilateral headache(on one side) along with dizziness,migraine is a common cause to be ruled out.Some of the other typical symptoms of migraine are-
1)nausea
2)Photophobia and phonophobia(headache worsens on exposure to bright light and sound)
3)Visual aura-Visual aura is common.However,other bizarre types of aura can be present like matallic blood like smell in your case.
Please check other symptoms and see if they are present in yo.If yes,it can be migraine.
Please discuss with your physician so that he puts you on a trial of anti-migraine therapy and see if your symptoms persist.I hope your headache will improve.Hope it helps.
