Hello, for over a decade now I have been dealing with daily headaches that start at the left side of my neck and travel to three different locations. One branch seems to lead to my ear, causing excruciating ear pain but apparently my ear is fine, it also causes me tenderness in my lymph node on that side. The second branch flows over my ear, again on the left and ends at my left temple causing a migraine like headache and finally the third branch travels across the top of my head and settles right in the center of my left eye making my eye extremely sensitive to even the smallest bit of light like a blinking light on a DVD player. Unlike most migraines I rarely get the nausea and noise is not a mitigating factor unless it he is excessively loud like a dirt bike. When I have the worst of these headaches I have to lie perfectly immobile in bed and don t dare lift my head off the pillow because the weight of my head on my neck triggers the pain to new heights. I have oxygen at home and it does provide some relief and I have notices that when I light a cigarette the headache gets worse. I live in fear of having to urinate with one of these headaches because when I do I can almost time it that within 4 minutes my head will explode in pain. I know these symptoms seem unrelated but this is what I have been dealing with for quite some time now without any relief. These headaches have been painfull enough at times that I have considered suicide. Please help me if you can. Sincerely, Claude Hebert
