2 weeks ago I gave up eating dairy and I am having some weird withdrawal symptoms. Is this normal? I've always been prone to sinus infections. Now that I'm off dairy, I am draining like crazy, my sinuses are starting to feel clearer. But terrible headaches and am feeling lethargic.
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain it does not seems like symptoms of dairy withdrawal but looks like sinus infection and drainage, headache and lethargy are signs of sinus infection and you should consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and in case if sinusitis is suspected a PNS VIEW x ray or an MRI can help in diagnosis and treatment for it can be done with antibiotics, anti-inflammatory painkiller like Naproxn, saline nasal irrigation, steroid nasal spray, decongestants lik Pseudoephadrine.. If there is a polyp surgical removal is advisable..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards. Dr.Honey Nandwani Arora.
