Suggest Treatment For Headache Due To Cold

Hi, I was having fever, cough & cold but that gone. Now I am having headaches all the day, never in my life earlier i had headaches.



A doctor said that i have caught cold & thats why i am having headaches, he gave me Crocin tablet to consume but still its there. Please assist.

Hi,
Thanks for using HealthCareMagic.

Your past history of fever,cough and cold suggest that you may have sinusitis.Crocin is the just to relive pain. It is not going to treat the problem.

You should under go investigation called,"X-ray PNS(paranasal Sinus View)". Probably in that finding of sinusitis will be there.It can be treated by 5 days course of antibiotic like levofloxacin.
Simultaneously anti allergic like levocetrizine can be taken and some vaporizer inhalation in warm water should be taken to get relief.

If x-ray results comes normal, you should go for visual check up for refraction, blood pressure and general physical examination.
If all comes normal possibility of migraine or cluster headache is there.
Migraine can be treated with propranolol or flunarizine which should be taken daily to prevent headache to occur.

For all above your consultation to the doctor is must.
Until you consult a doctor , you can take ipobrufen or diclofenac with meal to get relief from pain.
