Suggest Treatment For Headache, Nausea And Fever

I STARTED TAKING PREVACID A FEW MONTHS AGO, JUST SWALLOW CAPSULE WITH WATER ON AN EMPTY STOMACH. I HAVE HAD HEADACHES THAT ARE INTENSIFIED BY LYING DOWN AND WITH VARYING DEGREES OF INTENSITY AND ALSO SOME NAUSEA FOR THE PAST FEW MONTHS AND IT JUST DAWNED ON ME THAT THESE THINGS MAY BE RELATED. I HAVE HAD HEAD MRI, SINUS CT SCAN, EVERYTHING COMES BACK NEGATIVE. COULD THESE THINGS BE RELATED. I AM A 79 YR OLD WOMAN IN FAIRLY GOOD HEALTH BUT THESE HEADACHES ARE REALLY GETTING ME DOWN. THE NEUROLOGIST I WAS SENT TO PUT ME ON NORTIPTYLINE 10 MG AT BEDTIME AS HE THOUGHT I WAS DEPRESSED, I DON T THINK I AM OVERLY DEPRESSED BUT THESE HEADACHES ARE STARTING TO INCREASE ANY DEPRESSION I MAY HAVE HAD. Headaches are one of the possible adverse effects of Prevacid use, so, since the MRI and CT resulted normal, this remains the most possible cause. Discuss with your Doctor about stopping Prevacid for few days as a proof for this possibility.
