Suggest Treatment For Headache, Nausea And Vomiting

I ve had the worst headache I ve ever experienced and have been nauseas/throwing up for 4 days now. I have taken Excedrin and that s not helping, either is rubbing tiger balm on my forehead. Should I go to the ER? Will they treat me like I m stupid for coming?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi welcome to HCM..

Here your headache could be from migraine if you have history of repeated headache and intolerance to loud noise and bright light ...In that migraine also unilateral and throbbing nature. .

If migraine is there rizatriptan given. ..

Consult physician for examination and blood pressure measurement to rule out hypertension . .

If you have congestive symptoms than temporary viral infection can lead headache ...

If you have ear infection of tooth problem than reffered headache can be there ...

If headache more, analgesic can be taken SOS .....

Avoid precipitating factors like ....
-stress
-loud noise
-lack of sleep
-skipped meal
-dehydration
-smoking etc...

Take care ..

Consult physician for examination....
