Suggest Treatment For Headache

i was hit on my right temple area fairly hard. This was three days ago. I have since had a pretty mild, but constant headache and it is extremely sensitive to touch. It feels as if it is swollen as well. Do i need to seek medical attention, or is this pretty common?

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
This kind of headache and swelling are commonly seen after head injury. So no need to worry much or rush to the hospital for these symptoms.
You are should follow these steps for better symptomatic relief.
1. Avoid sudden head movements.
2. Apply ice packs on affected part of head.
3. Take painkiller and anti inflammatory drugs combination.
4. Drink plenty of fluids orally and keep your self hydrated.
Don't worry, you will be alright with all these in 1-2 weeks. Swelling will also reduce.
If your symptoms and swelling still persist after 1-2 weeks then consult doctor.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
