Suggest Treatment For Headache,nausea And Low Grade Fever
My husband woke me at 1 am last night. He is 40 years old. No major health issues. He was shivering but said he was hot. i assumed a low grade fever--yes.....99.6. He took ibuprofen. Fever broke around 4 am. He also complained of nausea but did not throw up. Also has had a headache off and on. He is drinking water; gatorade; and ginger ale....Was able to eat a few small pretzels. Still in bed fever seems to come and go.....as does nausea and headache. Ideas on what could be causing these symptoms? How long until I take him to the doctor? Thanks!

Hello,
It may be due to viral fever.
For that you may require complete hemogram, urine analysis and other relevant blood tests after physician consultation.
Till then for fever you can take tablet acetaminophen.
Keep your self hydrated.
For nausea you can take tablet ondensetron.
