Suggest Treatment For Headaches And Fast Heart Rate
mother is on number of meds...esp 1.25g of bisoprolol mylan for hypert and lower hr rt... 1 aspirin a day.. she s 89 1/2 yrs .... parkinsons too...takes 3 x day sinemet with vit b each time..this morn... she was feeling weak....her head....just overall not right feeling... I asked if she had headache....no.... I checked pulse...little fast approx. 70 bpm... but seemed manageable... resperations were normal.... and no temp.... wasn t breathless either...just overall feeling weak.... again no headache...so I don t think bld pressure was high...perhaps it was low....could this have been possible... I don t have portable bp machine! I did have her take her aspirin and her bisoprolol mylan and her parkinsons meds right away... which is her typical dose at 9am daily.... she sat on bed....stood up...repeated this motion 8 times....then approx. 8 to 10 mins later .... I told her relax...sit , rest your head...she did this and dozed off for 2 1/2 hours.... woke up with better overall feeling and had tea, toast jam... walked around as usual....dressed herself, washed herself standing...made her bed etc....back to normal as such! i m visiting her from usa in Ireland.... for a month....24 hr care as such...she s independent ....but this bout of feeling weak this morn was new in the month I was home.... she did very well the rest of the day.... my question is did she have low blood pressure you think.... or could it have been high..without a headache..... heart rate was little fast I thought ...again 70 to perhaps 75 bpm given her age and ailments... etc.... thankyou
