Suggest Treatment For Headaches And Nausea In A Person With High BP

I have a history of high blood pressure. I am currently on lorstan, propanol, and two other medicines for it. I also have a history of migrians, fibromaylgia, nerve damage in both feet, anxiety, old neck and lower work related injury(especially the neck- mri showed disk in neck starting to bulge). But recently starting having constant numbness in both hands and also tingling. Had one epsiode a couple of days ago of pain in left arm only for a day and a half. Then went away. Lately on and off having short epsiodes of dizzness with brief nausea feeling. And increase in regular headaches. Although not sure if my sinuses that I also get headahes from is part of it. Just wondering if I should see my local doctor.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* As per my clinical experience, the constant numbness both hands and tingling do indicate cervical nerve compression at C 7 , C 8 or T 1 levels.

Recent MRI scan would reveal best of the anatomic details for this.

* So far as headache and nausea is concerned, the alteration in blood
pressure levels are majority of the cause in many of the patients.

* As currently you are on angiotension receptor blocker ( Losartan )
with beta blocker ( Propranolol ), it is best recommended to consult
your doc, get BP checked and get further guidelines of cure.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel
