Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice. As per your complain, thrush is an opportunistic infections caused by Candida Albicans fungus and commonly seen after large doses of antibiotics as intake of antibiotics reduce the resistance to infection created by good bacteria in the mouth.

Rumbling in stomach is also a side effect of antibiotics due to killing of good bacteria of intestines along with harmful bacteria with antibiotics. Consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and he can advise you antifungal medicines like Nystatin mouthwash, Clotrimazole lozenges and Oral Medication like Fluconazole, Itraconazole etc.

Take ample of Probiotics like yoghurt and garlic. Take light meals and take Proton pump inhibitor like Pantoprazole or Omeprazole empty stomach till you are on antibiotics.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Honey Arora
