Suggest Treatment For Headaches, Nausea And Lower Back Pain

Flu symptoms x 6 days but with absolutely no respiratory involvement. Chills, fever 101-103 x5days, headaches, nausea, deep body aches. Severe lower back pain on one side, tenderness to touch under rib cage same side. Results from in-office dipstick test showed pus and bacteria in urine. Lab results however came back negative. What is going on? Do I continue this horrid, horrid macrobid for three more days? Have I been treating the wrong disease? YYYY@YYYY

Hi,

Your symptoms & dip stick test urine infection. Lab test for urine maybe - sometimes in a day. To confirm you need to get -

-Physical examination by a kidney specialist & urine culture & sensitivity test.

Till then you can start taking Tab. Paracetamol twice a day & syrup Vital 2 teaspoons with a glass of water twice a day. Over the counter. If there is no relief in two days then consult an expert for antibiotics.
