Hello,

The following are few causes of headache:
1) Sinusitis
2) Cluster headache
3) Migraine headache
4) Headache due to a deviated nasal septum
5) Infections like bacterial and viral meningitis
6) Encephalitis
7) Stroke
8) Transient ischemic attack or mini stroke
9) Temporal arteritis

In my opinion, the next move must be following:
1) Detailed ENT examination
2) Examination of sinuses
3) Examination of cranial nerves and for stroke
4) Complete blood picture
5) ESR
6) Spinal tap for CSF examination if all the above are normal
Please do consult your physician and discuss the above.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Pallavi M., Anesthesiologist
