Suggest Treatment For Headaches
I always have difficulty adjusting to new prescription eyeglasses. This new one I have worn for 3 weeks and about dinner time I have a bad headache -- my eyeballs actually hurt. Then I jump back to my old prescription to give them a rest. Well last night I switched back to my old ones and my headache worsened. How long should it take to adjust to new lenses? Is this normal? Just about evry time I go back to the eye docytor and he rechecks them and tells me the prescription is good.

Hello, welcome to HCM. the glasses have been given after correcting the problem. The old glass will have less owner. The eyes will take about 20- 30 days to adjust to the new glass. When it is adjusting definitely there will be headache, but you should not change your glasses to old one. You are confusing your eyes . Please dont do that. I hope i have clarified all your doubts.
