Hi,

Based on the symptoms and history you have described, it sounds like you may have a concussion. A concussion is seen when there is a swelling in the brain and this can cause headaches, confusion, and reduced alertness.

The spot over the hit may be soft tissue swelling. Most people find using an ice pack over the area for 15 mins every hour useful.

This will help to reduce the swelling and help with the other symptoms as well. Along with this, taking over the counter painkillers may help as well.

In case the symptoms do not subside after a few days, it would be a good idea to get a check-up to rule out any internal injuries. It would be a good idea to see a doctor right away in case there is any loss of consciousness.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
