My wife was using Dr. Meeks. He changed her med was the generic for fosomax and he didn t think it was doing the job so he wrote a scrip for Actonel. She took one and it really did some damage. Now she can t hear out of her right ear at all. She could use some relief.

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi

Welcome in HCM.

I understand your concern, here I would like to tell you that hearing loss should be investigated by Audiometry (pure tone ) and Impedance audiometry. The different diseases having hearing loss are-

1- Perforation in ear drum.

2- Otosclerosis.

3- Sensory neural hearing loss.

4- Fluid in ear.

5- Eustachian tube dysfunction.

All above diseases are having different treatment so consult your ENT doctor for diagnosis and treatment.

Thanks for consulting HCM.
