Hi. I went to the doctor last week on Sept. 23 because I could not hear out of my right ear. Both ears were itching earlier during that week prior to going to the doctor and I tried flushing them out with hydrogen peroxide and water. When I did go to the doctor, I was told that I had an ear infection in my right ear that was very bad. I could hear out of my left ear, but could not hear out of my right ear. The doctor prescribed amoxicillin 875mg to take twice a day for 10 days. During the time that I was taking the medicine, I noticed that the ear infect began to switch to the other ear. So, I could hear in the right ear, but could not hear in the left ear. I just finished taking the last pill of the prescribed medicine today. It has been 1 week and a couple of days and I still am unable to hear clearly out of my left ear. What would you suggest that I do?
